There are times in the world when not eating well is not good for you and, therefore, it’s time to do something about it. There are a plethora of ways where one can achieve their goal in regards to their body and health without engaging in extra-crowded activity or dieting. Both diets were meant to promote a healthier lifestyle but due to laziness and lack of discipline, I just couldn’t stick to them. Nowadays there is not so much resistance to following a healthy regime. People are more concerned about losing weight and the demand for quick results is high. Many people don’t care about their health because they think it’s not important for them. However, according to science many diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer, and even hypertension are caused by an unhealthy diet and lack of healthful habits. As a result, I want all of you to stick to this diet and see how easy it will be for you in the end.

As far as the benefits of a low-calorie diet, it promises a lot of health benefits and is considered a very sustainable method of weight loss by most people. Here is a list of foods that you can enjoy while on this diet:

1. Salmon, trout, and tuna

2. Fish and fish dishes

3. Eggs and omelet

4. Eggless pancakes

5. Almonds and walnuts

6. Cottage cheese

7. Cheese and bread

8. Meat alternatives and vegetarians

9. Vegetables. These are all good choices because they add variety to your meals.

10. Eggs, mashed potatoes, soups, and salads

11. Fruit, including apples and pears. You can add fruit to various types of dishes, including curries and pizzas. Also, you may choose fruit juices instead of water.

12. Whole grains. These help in reducing the number of calories you consume.

13. Fiber-rich yogurt and cereals. The choice of these depends upon your body type and the number of meals that you plan to put on during the day. If you choose to eat at less than 1.5 cups of fiber a day, ask yourself how long you’d want to stick to a high-fat diet. Some people only need between 3-5 cups daily, like athletes. So ask yourself, is it feasible or will it cause health problems?

14. Yogurt. One cup daily is okay. After a small breakfast, you can either drink yogurt, mix with ice, or buy plain yogurts with zero artificial sugars. Or choose fresh yogurt. This is another option that helps in promoting a healthier digestive system, especially in the elderly.

As you can see, these are all the options that one will benefit from being on a low-calorie diet. These three diets have shown great results and the health benefits they provide are undeniable.
